It’s a great time of year to get cozy and boozy in the city. The snow is falling, temperatures are dropping and the sun is fading. There’s nothing like the warm glow from within to keep your spirits bright. We put together a list of some cool places to keep warm this season for all you hibernating party people.
Longslice Brewery: Nothing better than having a roaring fire, or at least the image of a roaring fire on your Netflix, at home with a tall can in hand. Our beverages are available in many LCBOs across the city and province. They have a higher than average ABV (alcohol by volume), so they are sure to keep you warm and toasty.
Bellwoods Brewery: Get some holiday shopping done along Queen West and head north on Ossington to sample all the beers from this Toronto landmark. They have a few pale ales, like Monogamy and Monster, as well as the Jelly King sour ready for the buying.

Left Field: With so many options to choose from, it can get tricky. The Eephus Oatmeal Brown Ale is well known. But trying out something like the Magnus Force Belgian Golden Strong Ale will keep your insides well lit.
Great Lakes Brewery: Our friends at GLB have always been brewing a lot of ideas and this season is no different. With so many to choose from, you may as well get a mixer and try all the flavours.
Junction Craft Brewing: Our friends at this fine establishment have some incredible beers to try. Most local beer drinkers are familiar with the Conductor’s Ale, but they have a couple of others to try, too. The new brewery will be open next year and it looks awesome!

Halo Brewery: Stop into this taproom and bottleshop to try out a few beers. These guys love combining the art and science of making beer and are proud to do so for a living. They have 6 styles to taste, including a nice deep stout with sarsaparilla.
Rainhard Brewing: Located a little further north of the Junction, these guys have quite a few beers worth trying. From a milk stout to a dry-hopped sour, there is something for everyone.
To be honest, this is just the tip of the craft beer iceberg in the city. There are lots of places to try and doing so will keep you busy through the season. Grab your buds and sip some suds through these cooler temps. Stay warm and stay safe!
