How To Get Your Halloween On In Toronto

Toronto at night

This is it, party people. Your weekend to dress up and get your drink on. We decided to pull together a list of events that will be happening around the city. Some you need tickets to, some you don’t and if it comes down to it, what’s better than a house party with tall cans of Longslice?

Shark at Ripley's

Family fun @ Ripley’s Aquarium for Gills and Ghouls: Kids can go around the “creepy cove” all weekend trick-or-treating or stopping by stations for crayons and colouring books. Heck, this sounds so awesome we’re a little jealous that we didn’t plan it for ourselves.

Legends of Horror @ Casa Loma: Imagine traipsing a creepy castle at night with ghosts and goblins popping out of the shadows. Makes our skin crawl just thinking about it. Better luck next year because, unless you have a ticket, this event is mostly sold out.

Day of the Dead

Day of the Dead @ Wychwood Barns: Take some time to experience a different culture at this all-ages, barrier-free event. This beautiful venue will be host to Mexican cuisine, dance and art installations. Oh yeah, and don’t forget to bring a marigold.

Halloween Haunt @ Canada’s Wonderland: If you have the means to get up there, what better place to spend a night of terror than at a theme park. Guaranteed to be creepy as heck with 700 monsters roaming around and 20 haunted attractions. Only for the truly brave.

Zombie 2

Zombie Walk @ McCormick Park: Find your best zombie, vampire or mummy gear and get your crawl on. The Brockton community is putting on a daytime march of the undead to give everyone a fright. A perfect start to any ghoulish weekend.

Parties @ Toronto: For all those party-goers who are looking for some fun, this is a great list of places to do the monster mash.
