We're excited to announce that we've teamed up with our pals at Old Toronto Series to bring you "The Haunting of Gibraltar Point" Red Ale.
The beer is based around the story of John Paul Radelmüller – lighthouse keeper, bootlegger, murder victim – and the haunting of Gibraltar Point. German-born Radelmüller arrived in the foggy, mud-ridden town of York in 1804, and on January 2, 1815, he was murdered for his bootlegged beer. Modelled after what Radelmüller would have brewed on that secluded corner of the islands, this dark red ale pays homage to a darker time.
