How To Have The Best Weekend Away Drinking Craft Beer

Muskoka Griffin Session 2015

What better way to spend a summer day than in Muskoka drinking the finest craft beers that Ontario has to offer? Experience the Griffin Session celebration of all things local in one of Canada’s most iconic locations for chilling! Join us in Bracebridge July 30th for lots of booze, food and the Tokyo Police Club!

With Bracebridge being over 2 hours away from the city, you will definitely need to rent a car or hop on a bus to get up there. If you are driving, you will need a designated driver, but what if your buddy also wants to have some swigs? Your crew could stay the evening up north! We put together a couple of ways to get there and ideas of places where you can stay!

Muskoka Griffin Session 2015

How to get there:

Get your road trip tunes ready, pack a lunch and find someone who has a car! If you don’t have a car, rent-a-wreck, car2go, Zipcar and general car rentals are the way to go! You will head north on Highway 400 and past Barrie keep on Highway 11 towards Bracebridge.

For those that don’t have a car, you can still take the Ontario Northland early in the morning (9:15am at 610 Bay Street) and arrive in time to get your sip on! Or you can even leave the night before and spend your whole weekend in cottage country!

Where to stay:

Not everyone has a cottage up north but that doesn’t mean you can’t find somewhere to stay! Stay in one of the many hotels in town or opt for a cottage rental. If you have an AirBnB account you can find a lot of cabins and rooms in the area. Depending on your preference, there are a ton of options for accommodations!

There is no reason why you can’t spend your long weekend in Muskoka! While you are there, you can drink some of the finest craft beers with amazing entertainment. Join us in Bracebridge and say hello at our booth!
